Our Reputation

SAHEC has an excellent reputation in the natural therapies industry and the wider community.
Our courses are accredited according to national standards for training (the Australian Quality Training Framework standards and the Complementary and Alternative Health Care Training Package). Government accreditation means that we have met nationally accepted standards for training. As well as assuring you of the quality of our education, it means that other training organisations and universities recognise the successful completion of course modules and qualifications from SAHEC.
Having government accreditation also means that SAHEC adopts the Training and Skills Commission 'Standard Code of Practice'. This code ensures quality training and protects the interests of students.
SAHEC is also accredited with industry associations. Our qualifications are recognised by the following associations:
- Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS)
- Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT)
- American Polarity Therapy Association (APTA)
- Bowen Therapists Federation of Australia (BTFA)
- National Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA).
